Graminex®, L.L.C. is pleased to announce the completion of a clinical study examining the effectiveness of Graminex® Flower Pollen Extract™ for women’s urinary incontinence and urinary health with positive results. The study was conducted as a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial involving 190 healthy women with urinary incontinence. Preliminary analysis indicated significant improvements in multiple urinary incontinence quality of life indicators in the Graminex® Flower Pollen Extract™ study group compared to placebo.
Flower pollen extracts have been studied for women’s menopausal symptoms for many years, and this study marks an important expansion into the more specific category of urinary incontinence particularly stress-induced urgency, which is especially pronounced in postpartum women and during menopause. “There are a large number of women experiencing reduced quality of life due to urinary incontinence.
